We understand that choosing the right natural health care can bring up a few questions — and we’re here to make things simple. Whether you’re curious about what to expect in your first naturopathy consultation, how to prepare for a massage, or what remedies we use, our most common questions are answered here to help you feel informed and at ease before you arrive.
Yes we do. Online consultations are offered to people who prefer to do from home or are not close to be able to come to the clinic. Zoom and FaceTime are used. Consultations are paid for prior to the Online consultation. Handouts and Treatment Plans are sent via email.
Consultations are
Initial consultations are for two hours – 90 minutes to discuss your health and 30 minutes for advice and dispensing. A detailed treatment plan is sent after the Initial Consultation outlining the treatment and timeline expected. Pathology may be required and a Pathology Referral will be provided or ordered with me, online.
Once you book an Initial Consultation via the online booking system, you’ll be emailed a simple intake form. Previous Pathology can be uploaded or email copies directly. A reminder will be sent prior to your appointment. Appointments can be either online or face to face. It is helpful if you bring Medications and supplements that you’re taking.
We Discuss your concerns and what you have come for and then go through a full body systems check, also discuss diet and lifestyle.
Follow-Up Consultations are for 30-60 minutes. They can be booked online or by me after our consultation.
Simple Acute consultations are for short acute treatment and are booked after you have discussed with me. For example, Colic for a young baby, treatment for head cold.
It is safe at any stage. It’s ok after your due date and up until your baby is born. Many many massages have been given for women who are well overdue. It is not only safe (given your medical history doesn’t present any contra-indications), it is recommended. Massage helps to relax you, circulate blood to the placenta and the whole body, and increase flow of lymphatics. Also, cortisol levels are reduced and oxytocin levels are increased. Firm Remedial Massage is still ok if a Swedish massage is not your cup of tea! I monitor and adjust pressure for each person. If you are not sure if massage is ok for you, please feel free to contact us.
At the first consult we will go over your brief medical history, injuries etc, an explanation of how to get onto the massage table and Belly Bag (the pregnancy pillow we use), time for toilet, getting undressed and on/off the table in privacy, re-dressed, and payment. We allow 30mins so a 10-11am massage, please allow 10-11.30am, a 90minute massage 10-11.30am is 10-12pm. Future appoints will be the same with 30 mins for on/off the Belly Bag, toilet and payment.

These massages require 90 minutes of massage. They involve a regular pregnancy massage plus time for the acupressure points.
Induction massages are not done before 38 weeks gestation unless a medical induction is impending.
An extra hour is also required for discussion around Induction or turning a baby, and time for toilet, getting on/off the Belly Bag (the pregnancy pillow used), and brief medical history if it is your first appointment with us.
E.g. An appointment 10-11.30am for the Massage plus 1 hour, so for example 10-12.30pm all up.
Unfortunately, we have needed to introduce a policy for cancellations.
Cancellation Fees are due to “no shows” and people who cancel at the last minute. This is in line with other professional services that charge for a cancelled appointment.
For any appointment changes, please call or text 0412 360 962. We require at least 24 hours notice for any appointment changes — failure to give this notice will incur a late notice fee.

Yes we do. Lovely printed Gift Certificates are available for Massages, Baby Massage Classes and Naturopathic Consults. They are valid for 6 months. Payment can be made over the phone (via Eftpos) or prior bank transfer if preferred.
Certificates can be collected, posted or emailed. Preference is for them to be collected or posted (for $3) as they just look nicer! Please contact us if you have any questions on 0412 360 962.
